The atmosphere of the space is comfortable, elegant, and inviting plus they offer packages that include parking and breakfast. You get museums, restaurants, and are close to Downtown and the waterfront. Hotel Indigo Baltimore is located in a great location to enjoy more of what Baltimore has to offer. However, the Aveda soaps were so drying… or maybe is the water? Definitely, use the body lotion provided or bring your own! Verdict Not so sparkly: This space is pretty much all you need and a little bit more with that glam light. Note to self: Need one of these in my life. It was great to put on makeup for the wedding. Sparkling feature: The mirror’s frame was actually an awesome glam light (Is that what you call those? Diva light? Anyway, you get the picture). Not so sparkly: The only thing I can think of was the fact that the minifridge is inside a door on the desk and the door was completely off its hinges when we opened it for the first time. No need to stack and fluff pillows so your head doesn’t end up rejoicing in the comforts of hard rock cement. Our room was spacious and offered a king size bed with two nightstands, desk, coffee maker (hello Keurig!), minifridge, flat screen TV mounted on the wall with cable access, blackout curtains, and a bench by the door with a full body mirror. Not sure why spending money on cocktails wasn’t enough and even more as someone staying at the hotel. However, who I can only imagine is the manager, asked us to leave because we needed to spend the $35 on the brunch menu. However, when we got back on Sunday after the wedding’s brunch we noticed there was a Drag Queen show and decided to sit by the bar to grab a drink and check the show out. Not so sparkly: We didn’t get to enjoy the bar or restaurant as we had so much going on. We would always look forward to coming back and enjoying a glass, especially the strawberry one. The hallways were also pretty fun as they went from light gray doors, walls, and carpet to darker gray doors with printed wallpaper and carpet on the other side. They were spacious, filled with light, and laced with interesting art and pops of color. I personally loved the decor in the lobby, hallways, and bar area.
